Beth’s Story

Why I Love What I Do!

I’m very blessed that early in life I discovered my passion of helping women look and feel beautiful. I’ve been a licensed beauty professional for more than 20 years. In addition, I am also Certified in Oncology Esthetics, specializing in helping cancer survivors and women living with cancer to live fuller, happier lives by being able to look and feel your best self. Also helping to improve the quality of life through the powerful energy of touch and connection.

My Calling & My Passion

Two years ago I was diagnosed with stage 4 Neuroendocrine Cancer with heavy tumor burden. Within 3 months of my diagnosis I underwent resection surgery where they removed 40% of my liver and 30 to 40 lymph nodes along with part of my small intestine and gall bladder. Like most cancer patients I had been carrying the disease with no symptoms signs that I was in anyway unhealthy. It was discovered only due to the fact that my older sister had passed away two months earlier with thymic carcinoma, a very rare cancer. Her death prompted me to undergo complete check up, so I know it was my sister who saved my life.

Shortly after my recovery from surgery I made the decision to return to the occupation and industry that I love. Wanting to expand my knowledge and experience, I worked hard to become a Certified Oncology Esthetician so I could help other women with cancer, find some much needed relief and hope.

In addition to my business career, I became a volunteer at The City of Hope Research Hospital in Duarte, CA where she is both a volunteer and a patient. She has also become a recognized speaker at a number of cancer awareness events and functions including the 2018 LANCETS (Los Angeles Carcinoid Neuroendocrine Tumor Society) Conference at UCLA
